Night. A phone random call
From my native and distant village.
And suddenly between the on-air lines:
«You know, she seems to have died»
My heart and my soul sank.
It’s a pity I’m not a bird and have no wings.
I would fold my wings, rush upward,
To see the stars of your light.
The Universe is sleeping.
Quietly the stars are twinkling.
Above me there is hopelessness`s rock.
Sorry, MAESTRO,
I was late for your last lesson.

… After the first session at the Institute, I came to my school teacher Mrs. Pauline Zotova, and she allowed me to give an English class to the senior class. «Meet my former student». 50 curious eyes were looking at me with interest…
Once again I saw Mrs. Pauline Zotova in 2008 at the meeting of graduates.
It was the last.
On October 25, 2010 she was gone.
If stars die and fall in the sky, new ones are lit up. This is the law of Nature: some are born, others die. And so it goes nonstop: the pulse pounding loudly in the head of a born child, and the frozen pulse in the heart of a dying person.
Everything once happened: it doesn’t matter with whom and why.
And at the end of life, finally, we come to understand the misunderstood and perceive the unperceived. That`s the result of our life.
