In August 2012, I opened an English language course near the Mariinsky Theater in honor of the diamond anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II. On February 6, 1952, Elizabeth II of Windsor ascended the throne of Great Britain (she was crowned after the death of her father George VI from lung cancer). On June 2-5, 2012, the countries of the Commonwealth officially celebrated the diamond anniversary - 60 years of the reign of Elizabeth 2. My daughter helped me to make my dream come true. When registering with the tax office, inspectors could hardly understand why the courses were called «Queen Elizabeth 2». The courses were attended by kids, schoolchildren, adults, businessmen, children of actors of the Mariinsky Theater, actress of the Mariinsky Theater Tatyana Cheremukhina, etc.
